Halle's Room

Here are a few more pictures from Halle's room.  Her dresser was David's dad's dresser when he was a baby.  We sanded it and painted it.  The flowers are from the Dollar Tree and are only decals that are removable.  Halle decorated it herself.

We all know Halle loves art.  I framed some scrapbook paper and the letters are also decals from the Dollar Tree.  Halle painted the flower canvas.

The only way Halle would take this smaller dresser was if we painted it and she could pick out new knobs.

New Blog

Thanks to my amazing sister for the new look of my blog!  The new picture is only a sneak peak of the pictures she took while visiting.  I am also waiting to see pictures my sister-in-law, Kathryn, took while we were in Charlottesville.  I am so blessed to have a camera available where ever I go:)  I can not wait to get some on my walls!!

Daddy Dave Rocks!

Sweet girl.  

David really enjoys making things for the kids rather than buying them.  Like, their new swing for example!  Halle L.O.V.E.S it!  She swings for hours.....rain or shine!  She begs and bats her eye lashes for Luke to push her.

I also had to add this picture of Luke.  He is such a cutie.

David is in the process of making a book ledge for Halle's room and for Luke's that you can buy at Pottery Barn for like $60.  He bought the wood today for $6.  Add paint and labor and it will cost us around $10 each.  Pictures to come when he gets them complete.

The lower half of the room are individual wood planks.  He used casing and 1x3 to make her ledge around her room.  He also did the same thing in Luke's room, but just on one wall.
