So, my mom called me with an idea for curtains for Halle's room. I bought a panel, like the one shown above, from Bed Bath & Beyond for $12.00 and did a few modifications to accomplish Halle's window treatment.

Bouncy Bounce
I/we have always known Levi was an easy baby. He is truly the most content, easy going, laid back, happy little guy. He stinks at sleep but I can't even complain about that being he is always happy no matter how long he sleeps. He usually goes down without crying, sometimes fusses, but not screaming. The last few nights he has only got up once to eat and still slept until 7ish. If he wakes up earlier than 7 I can usually lay him back down. I say all this and tomorrow he will probably be a terror! We often reflect back to the days Luke was a baby and have a few laughs. Luke cried when you changed his diaper from the day he was born until he was like 2. He cried when you brushed his teeth and actually still gives us grief. Just in last few months has he started waking up happy and not crying from his naps. I can not believe how different Levi is and I am so thankful for God's grace. I often thank Him knowing life with 3 would be extremely difficult if Levi was a challenging baby. All that being said we love them both the same. The love for our children is a glimpse into the heart of Christ and what he feels for us.
I have enjoyed all of our children. Halle being the 1st, and Luke being the 1st boy and things being a little easier being he was our 2nd. BUT, I have to say I am way more relaxed with our 3rd which allows me to enjoy him sooo much more. He smiles and giggles all the time. He loves to play in his exersaucer, on his mat or jump in the jumper. He loves watching Halle and Luke and is truly content if they are around. Every minute with him thus far has been 100% pure joy....not to mention he is our miracle baby giving us our huge scare when he was born! He holds the key to his big sister's heart as well:) She smothers him in kisses all day. She will sit and hold him for the entire hour he is awake and not eating if I let her. She even rocks him and sings to him before I lay him down for bed. She reads him books and has to show him all of her artwork. I have a feeling they are going to have a super special bond.

Lion Marries Car, Lizard Marries Hippo'
With all of the cold weather and snow many people have been begging for spring. I consider myself to live for today, in the moment. I do not want to wish my life away. There are days that are hard. I feel like screaming or crawling in a hole. I know there will be a day when the kids are all out of the house, in school or married or living only God knows while David and I are home....alone. We will be able to sleep in, go anywhere without whiny, tired children, and keep our house in order. Ok, back to where I was going with this.....I AM SO READY FOR SPRING! Days go by and I do not even step out of the house. Levi's wake time is only an hour to an hour and a half. By the time I feed him and get everyone out the door and in the car we have about 5 minutes before he's fussy. Will he sleep in his car seat....uhhh, NO. He did for a minute. So, I do not bother to run a mindless errand. Trying to get out to be out is sometimes more hassle than it is worth. We typically make a weekly Lowe's trip, go to BSF, Mommy lunch, church, gymnastics and now swim on Saturdays. Halle has Awana on Wednesday too. I know this is only a phase of life for us that only last a few blinks of an eye.
Lately, I have felt like I am coming out of my skin. Doing the same things every single day. I feel like Groundhog Day. Wake up, feed Levi, make a spark, feed Ellie, let Ellie out, tell Luke to stop whining for cereal, pour cereal, pour Luke his 2nd bowl, pour Luke his 3rd bowl. Tell Luke to eat over his bowl, slow down, and "no, you can't have cheese for breakfast. Yes you can have yogurt." Put Levi to bed, nurse my spark, unload the dishwasher, change over laundry, clean the kitchen, get Halle paper for her morning "craft", get Levi up, nurse Levi, fix an egg, battle with kids to clean their room, put Levi back to bed, fix a snack, put on Dora, take a shower, put back on PJ's, do laundry, turn off TV, kids melt down, fix lunch, play with kids, do more laundry, pick up, ponder on dinner, eat lunch, get Levi up, nurse Levi, put kids down for rest, try to lay down for a minute, read my Bible, close my eyes, kids storm upstairs.....round and round we go! Shew! That was exhausting. All that being said, my hope is in the Lord. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Is. 40:29-31 We are not promised deliverance from our adversity here on earth but we are promised hope, peace, and strength.
Here Comes The Bride....
The largest dysfunctional, immoral wedding ceremony EVER! Cinderella marries a train, shark marries a rocking horse, Jasmine marries hippo, etc. Luke and Halle were the officials! They were best buds today! This week they have played school bus, school, the couch was a boat, a dragon was on the porch, and Halle wrote 2 books today. Today Halle told me that Gramma and I sound the same when we talk to sugar (Levi).

"chap lip"
"I shink (think) I got to much." The kids call chap stick chap lip. I turned around today and this is what I saw! AWWWWWWW! I said something to the sorts of, "wow Luke!" and he said in his precious little voice, "I shink I got to much". He is the most loving, precious child. He was super whiney this morning so I sent him to his room. He eventually stopped and came up stairs and was fine. He asked me, "Mommy, are you happy to me?" Love him. David brought S & P to the dinner table the other night for the 1st time in a while. Luke said, "I like peppermint Dad. Can I have some?" Sure Luke. "Ummm, I like sauce too." Such a little ham. He steals our hearts DAILY!
Halle is finally BACK! Where did she go? Ummm, not sure but the little girl living in our house the last month was not the same one that has been residing here for the last five years. Shew! She truly turns into a bear, a grizzly bear if she is sick. She does not complain and denies she is sick or in pain but she is impossible to parent. We took she and Luke to the chiropractor Monday on the way home from C-ville. Luke was up a TON both nights in C-ville complaining his side (side of his head/ear) was hurting. Tuesday they both woke up literally different children! We truly believe in chiropractic care and are so thankful for it! Now poor Levi has a cold/cough. HATE sick babies:(
