Story Time

Halle has a new found confidence these days. She's been reading for over a year now but has just recently started reading with confidence and reading by choice. She read the boys Hop On Pop today. She read the entire book and read it without help. I am so proud of her!

I also found her in her bed today reading a Dr. Seuss book. Until this week, she only would read if I made her. She would only look at the pictures of books when I encouraged book time. It is so encouraging to see her accomplish things and to do them well, mostly in her time and on her terms!
